[dropcap]Today’s[/dropcap] blog post has been in the making for the last couple of weeks! I decided to hold off blogging this wedding (my last one of the year!!!) until my website launched since it would be adding extra work to transfer it over to the new platform. Anyway, today is the day! I am finally sharing my favorite images from Nancy + Dan’s wedding in October!!

First of all, let me just say that Nancy is the sweetest! I received an email from her back in June after I shot Kari + Marshall’s wedding. She was a part of their communion ceremony at St. Pius Church and once she saw my work, she said she knew she needed to hire me! Well, I am sooooo glad she did!

Nancy + Dan had a three year engagement, so the anticipation leading up to their wedding day was so. flipping. real! I got to meet with Nancy about four weeks before the wedding and I could just tell how excited she was. Her eyes were glowing and she was grinning from ear to ear – which of course made me even. more. excited!!

Their ceremony was at St. Pius Church as well, so it was amazing to be back there!! It is such a beautiful church! But honestly I could shoot at the most gorgeous places, but that does not matter to me as much as my couples do. Nancy + Dan are the epitome of a CB couple. They are kind, considerate, love to have fun, joyful, and are people I feel like I’ve known forever!

Followed by their Catholic ceremony at St. Pius, their reception was at the Eck Visitor Center at Notre Dame. It was an intimate reception and nothing was too formal because Nancy + Dan really just wanted to be able to spend time with and enjoy their guests, and I truly admire that! I also had like three plates of hors d’oeuvres because the food was amazing! Haha (bet you just couldn’t have gone your entire day without knowing that ;))!

Anyway, despite the rain and blustery winds, Nancy + Dan had the best day ever, and everyone could tell! I wish this sweet couple nothing but the absolute best!
