[dropcap] Becky [/dropcap] and Drew tied the knot on May 4th and I couldn’t wait to share these images! Their day was filled with love, friends, and an occasional Star Wars reference (because if you get married on May 4th, how can you not?!). 😉

Their wedding ceremony took place at Bridge Street Wedding Chapel which was the cutest chapel I’ve been to! If you’re looking for a wedding ceremony venue in the Lansing area, I would recommend checking them out! Their reception venue was just a couple blocks away at the Grand Loft and wedding guests were even able to just walk from the ceremony to reception and enjoy the beautiful weather outside! Becky is an event planner so you could tell the day was put together SO well!

Now onto the amazing couple… 🙂

As a photographer I usually am with my couples most of their wedding day, so I’ve spent a ton of time with my brides & grooms. Becky & Drew were so much different than any couple I’ve had, though. After the first look and couple portraits, they invited me up to their apartment for sandwiches and to hangout with the bridal party. How stinking sweet?! They care so deeply about others around them and that is just a testament to the kind of couple they are!

Becky also shared a sweet first look with her parents. She explained to me this time was so important to her and her dad was paralyzed. I’ve never seen such a sweet father/daughter first look! I was fighting back tears the entire time.

Their day was truly spectacular and I left thinking “if all of my weddings are like Becky & Drew’s, I wouldn’t be mad!” So cheers to this beautiful couple & the lifelong adventure they are about to embark on!
