Joel & Jera’s Coffee Shop Engagement

Sunday evening I drove down to a very familiar town that holds a dear place in my heart. Even better? I got to capture the sweetest proposal! August 20th, 2017 will forever be a special day for Joel and Jera. Joel asked me a few days prior if I would come take pictures of his asking Jera to spend the rest of her life with him. Of course I said "YES!". Anyone who follows my photography knows that couples are my favorite to photograph because I LOVE love.

The proposal was at Three Crowns Coffee in downtown Warsaw, IN. This is the exact spot Joel and Jera had their first date – so sentimental! Friends and family gathered in the back room to surprise Jera after she said yes. Joel had Jera thinking she was attending a staff meeting with him. Her reaction was so sweet and surprised (and confused! She really believed it was a staff meeting!).

There is so much in store for this sweet, godly couple. I am so honored to have been asked to capture this moment for them. I really have the best job ever! Below are a few shots from the evening:
