[dropcap] I [/dropcap] have done a loooooot of engagement sessions during my career thus far. I haven’t totaled it up, but it’s well over 50 I’m sure. Well… last night might have taken the cake as one of my favorite engagement shoots ever! Between the wildflower field, Lily + Tyler’s outfits, and this super sweet couple… yeah it’s definitely going down in the books as one of my favorites!!

Lily + Tyler came up to Michigan for their spring engagement session at Asylum Lake Preserve in Kalamazoo. I shoot here often, but I’ve never seen SUCH a beautiful evening here before. Lily + Tyler seriously lucked out!

They were supposed to get married in May, but due to COVID they decided to postpone their Fort Wayne wedding to July 18. I got to chat with them a lot about how they were feeling about changing their date. They are choosing to see joy in such a sad situation and that is so inspiring to me! It makes me so much more excited for their wedding day. It will be here before we even know it! I know it’ll be the best day ever!!
